Deck Staining & Restoration

Deck Staining & Restoration in Royse City

We clean, sand and re-stain gray, weathered decks and fences — protecting the wood and bringing back the color.

Why staining matters

Texas sun grays and dries out wood fast, and once it cracks, water gets in and rot follows. Staining isn't just cosmetic — it's how you protect the investment. We clean off the old gray and mildew, sand where needed, make minor repairs, then apply a quality stain or sealer that brings the color back and shields the wood from sun and moisture.

Questions

Staining & Restoration FAQs

How often should I stain my deck or fence?

In our climate, decks generally benefit from re-staining every 2–3 years and fences every 3–5 years, depending on sun exposure and the product used.

Can you save a deck that looks too far gone?

Often, yes. A lot of "ruined" decks just need proper cleaning, sanding and a few replacement boards. We'll tell you honestly whether restoration or rebuild makes more sense after seeing photos.

Do you stain fences too?

Yes — staining a cedar fence dramatically extends its life and keeps it looking new. We stain both new and existing fences.
